Popok @ MeidasTouch has a law firm now. You can try him, if he can't help I am sure one of the Meislas brothers will. If they are coming after you they will be after others in substack as well.
Continue to write about Politico until you feel safer, Ryan. We are here for you. As Joyce Vance says, “We’re in this together.” Remember to trust your gut, too. Maybe the correspondents’ dinner is a bit scary for now. Drinks & dinner with friends?
This is devolving quickly from “that’s bullshit” to flat-out intimidation and speech suppression. Politico hasn’t been the same since Jake & Anna left Playbook anyway, screw them. Hang in there, we’re behind you 100%.
So sorry Politico is doing this to you. There are many people to reach out to on Substack to give you advice. If I was you I talk with them (those in the legal field) for guidance so you can protect yourself. It appears they are escalating and intimidating you.
Thank you for keeping us updated. Keep up the fight to write here freely. Stand strong
So now it is clear which camp Politico is choosing. I hope you reconsider attending tonight's Correspondent event, but if you MUST go, don't hesitate to walk out if you are harassed. Stay safe.
Audre Lorde’s The Transformation of Silence into Language and Action and Michel-Rolph Trouillot’s Silencing the Past sustained me when I’ve felt the injustice of being compelled to be silent. Thank you for all that you are doing.
Unbelievable. And…I have read Politico for years. Time to unsubscribe from ProPolitico. All of us who subscribe to Telos are behind you 100%!
Talk to Contrarian folks. They should be able to direct to a good lawyer.
What Politico is doing is bullying pure and simple. Stay strong, Ryan -- right is on your side and so are the people who count! Know we are with you!!
💪
WTF…Substack was talking about putting together a legal defense fund. You may want to look into it. We can always begin a go fund me!
Stay the course! We are with you!
Thank you 🙏

We have a big night planned — nothing to be scared about. We’re not going to back down!
Keep the truth coming. Lies will just keep us lost in confusion longer. It takes the brave to stand up against tyranny!
Your bravery is contagious. - your community is here to support you. I’m sure it was a big leap to leave, and we are so grateful you’re here.🇺🇸❤️💪🏼

We have your back.
Thank you! Support from people like you in this small but growing Telos community has meant a lot to me!
Good luck in your fight Ryan. Let me know if there's a legal defense fund I can contribute to.

They are dastardly and craven. I just joined and I hope they back down. Also, they appear to have become bullies. Quite distressing.

I will check those out. Thank you!
Just watched your talk with Steve Schmidt. I'm on board in gratitude for your courage and gumption.
